"My goal with this collection has been to question the Western interpretation of masculinity vs. femininity by experimenting with the boundaries between the two and ultimately creating new silhouettes for men inspired by women's wear.
The female elements, which have been my primary focus, are lace, the dress and the skirt. I have tried to show how these elements can be used in a more masculine way, and how men can use feminine elements to create a new look – a look that is useful and can show both the man’s masculine and feminine side. It has also been important for me to push men’s boundaries.
The collection is targeted for what would be considered the avant-garde segment (first movers etc.), however the collection is based on a lot of basic styles that can be styled in a lot of different ways depending on personal taste and courage, which ultimately makes the collection stronger from a commercial point of view."
