Luxirare's gorgeous sheer pink ruffled cardigan (see here) reminded me of the dress I made for one of my finals last semester and more specifically, some crazy photos I have of it. The assignment made sleeves and a collar mandatory, otherwise I would have simply made this a tube dress - but my overall goal was to make a tacky 80s wedding dress, so I think the sleeves and collar brought this to a more appalling level. I only wish I had had the time to make exaggerated puff sleeves instead of a fitted sleeve. Below I modeled it with the black harness I made and a pair of YSL Tribute sandal knock offs that were left unattended in the studio. More at
